BISS AM/CAN Ch TaolanQuest Sharp Dress'd
Man (Polo) has been a busy boy on the show circuit. He's
training and traveling with our Professional Handler, Debbie
Coggin. Polo was invited to Eukanuba in Tampa where he received
the only Award of Excellence in the Mal ring, behind "Costello,"
the ultimate Best in Show winner. We wre really proud of that
outing! After a few local shows he then made his debut at Westminster
where we enjoyed the weekend with the deepest snow fall on record
in New York City in 150 years. A whopping 26.9" and that
is a lot of snow! But Polo loved it and he and Debbie never
missed a beat. We had a great time at Westminster and congratulate
Costello on taking Best in Breed. Polo then went on to win Breed
in Houston and in Louisiana and is booked at shows every weekend
throughout the Southeast for the next several weeks.
Our boy "Rowdy" is out of coat so he is just enjoying
being a dog, running and playing, getting dirty, digging, eating
and laying around the kennel. He'll get back on the circuit
before too long. Meanwhile, he is serving well in his position
as 'leader and defender of the pack."
Our boy "Bigsby" has not been shown in months until
a trip to Louisiana in March where he decided to win Breed for
himself. He is still the laid back, beautiful sable boy that
is Mr. Congeniality of the kennel! Whatever is fine with him.
Then there is "Sassy" who is the kennel howler! Every
once in a while we take her to a show and she regularly wins
Best of Opposite to hopefully one of ours, but other nice dogs
as well. She loves to dig and would really like to be left alone
to do it! She is the one that has to know what everybody else
is doing or she is mad!
Of course then there is "Marla Maples," whom we call
Marla for short but she is just so cute! Our puppy bitch already
with one 5 point major and some single points in limited showing.
She is always the playful one of course, because she is just
a baby. Watch for Marla as she debuts at several shows in 2006.
Then there is "Sophie" who we certainly can't forget
to mention in the news. Hopefully dropping her first litter
in March 2006, she is Ann's favorite (we think). But that depends
on the day, I guess. She is a sweet bitch and as smart as her
breeder! We are hoping for some nice pups from this her first
litter!
That's all for now. Watch for regular updates or email us inquiries@ixamals.com
